1. Use appropriate personal protection including gloves and eye protection. Shake tin well and remove cap carefully holding the tin away from face.
2. Brush on liberal coat with dabbing action. Leave until paint begins to soften or blistered, softened paint. Leave for a further 30 to 40 minutes.
3. Remove the blistered, softened paint with a stripping knife or scraper. If any paint or vanish remains, repeat the process. Use steel wool to remove paint from curved surfaces.
4. Wash down the surface thoroughly with water and allow to dry completely. On wood, white spirit can be used to wash down to avoid raising the grain.
On old paint or heavy applications Strypit can be left on longer to maximise penetration.
Coats: Apply 2 or more liberal applications depending on finish and substrate. On old paint or very heavy applications Strypit can be left on longer to maximise application.
Drying Time: Do not allow surface to dry during stripping. Apply more product if necessary.
Re-coating Time: Apply second application after 10 minutes. Repeat after 35-40 minutes if paint not fully stripped.
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25°C.
Compatibility: Should not be used on certain plastics or fibre glass.
Settlement: Shake well before use.
Cleaning up:
Collect waste in newspaper and dispose of safely in dustbin.
Clean brushes with warm soapy water.
Store in a cool dry place with lid tightly closed away from sources of ignition. Protect from frost.
Note: Not suitable on fibreglass, rubber and some plastics.
