No two pieces of slate will be exactly the same, as it is a naturally occurring, hand-cut product. This may result in slight differences in the surface, thickness, cut, smoothness and edges of the product. It may also contain elements of Pyrite (also known as Fool's Gold). This gives slate products their unique charm.

The engraving colour may vary from off-white to a sandy or ash-grey depending on the batch of slate and the natural differences found within it.

Engraving Information

Engraving is optional.

We can engrave these boards with any message of your choice. This message will be placed next to the entwined hearts logo, as pictured.

If you do not want the entwined hearts logo you must tell us when leaving your engraving instructions.

Please note: for longer messages, we may have to use a smaller font size and more than one line of text.

Our engraver will position your message on the board where they think looks best, unless you request a specific position in your engraving details.

We use the very latest computerised engraving machine which guarantee's perfect, clear engraving each and every time.

Please double check your spelling as we copy and paste your text to the engraving machine. If we notice spelling mistakes we will of course correct them.

All payment must be made within 7 days.

We accept the following payment methods: PayPal, postal order, cheque, or payment by card.

If you are paying by card you will need to call us on after you have purchased your item, to complete sale. 

If you are paying by cheque you will need to wait for it to clear before your item is dispatched.

Most items are sent via Royal Mail first class recorded unless otherwise stated.

Please allow up to seven days for your item to arrive. A tracking number will be provided if you need it, please us. 

If you need next day delivery on your item, please contact us first so we can issue an invoice that reflects the additional postage for this service.

Is your item important or needed A.S.A.P?

If so then please advise us of this before purchasing in case there is a delay.

Returns and Contact

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please return it in its original condition and packaging within 14 days of receipt for a refund of the item price only.

This DOES NOT include personalised items unless faulty.

We do not accept returns on personalised items that are misspelled UNLESS the fault is ours, in which case we will offer a replacement OR FULL refund.

If your item is damaged or faulty please contact us to return for a replacement, we will pay your return postage for damaged/faulty items.

All returns must be sent back to us via recorded delivery. Please contact us BEFORE returning any items.
