After successfully designing and releasing our Arrow Shark TS760A onboard E-Starter for RC gas car engines, we are proud to announce the release of its RC boating brother, the TS760-Marine RC onboard gas boat E-Starter.
The TS760-Marine Onboard E-Starter is the result of years of experience that Arrow Shark has accomplished with RC boat gas engine onboard electric starters. The TS760-Marine will work with virtually all brands and versions of RC marine engines that are available on the market today. These include Arrow Shark, Zenoah (and clones), CY, RCMK and Quickdraw, and with all formats of side exhaust, rear exhaust, twin inline or counter-rotation models.
The TS760-Marine is built for heavy-duty with most main components being CNC billet finished and anodized in three main colors (Popular Titanium, Jet Black and Brilliant Red) to suit various colors used in gas marine engines.
The TS760-Marine is powered by an OEM 760 series high-torque and high-rpm electric motor with an 11.1 volt （below 30cc) or 14.8 volt LIPO battery (for the over 30cc up or twin inline engine, but must work with our servo switch). It has enough power and torque to start up to 60cc gas inline engines. A clever design of gearbox seal retains grease inside the casing to protect the gears from overheating and wear to deliver reliability and longer life.
A unique two-level drive system efficiently avoids gear damage - even with long term usage. The first level belt-drive system soft-transfers all the rpm and torque from the electric motor to the second level gear-drive to start your gas engine within a second. The TS760-Marine has five built-in bearings for stable and durable performance of the shafts and gears. A high quality one-way bearing is filled with grease and installed inside a hardened alloy adaptor which allows for easy maintenance or replacement.
The TS760A-Marine comes with our latest release R-One remote device which allows you to start your gas engine with a single click on the third channel of your transmitter. The R-One is designed to be fully water-proof and will continue to function even when sinking underwater, so there is no worry that the device will be damaged by any splashes of water. It has a drain hole so any water that does get in can quickly flow out. Also the R-One will supply 5.2V power from the E-Starter LIPO for your radio system. You do not need a separate battery for that. Simply turn on the power switch of the R-One and your receiver and servos will be powered from the LIPO battery.
The TS760-Marine will be able to work with counter-rotation engines by just one simple step - changing the one-way bearing. The electric motor position on the TS760-Marine is fully adjustable; it could be installed on either the carburetor side or the exhaust side with very limited space needed. It is therefore likely to be able to be installed into any RC gas boat that is available in the market.
The TS760-Marine will ship to you completely assembled in a custom-made protective foam box to avoid any possible damage during shipping; when you receive it, the E-Starter is ready for immediate fitting to your engine.
Please note that: if you feel the BEC 5.2V output from the R-one device is not powerful enough for your servos, and prefer to use a separate 6V battery for your receiver, you need to pull out the red wire from the receiver wire that goes to your receiver from R-one, this way, the BEC function from the R-one will be disabled, you can not use both battery power and the BEC power at the same time, it will damage the R-one device as two types of power will interfere with each other.
