This pair of Chinese mythical beasts or foo dogs is each 11 ¾ inches tall and 7 inches wide. They are mounted on contemporary wood stands. The figures are 10 ¼ inches tall not including the stands. The figures are green with trim in rust/red. The bases are yellow and green. These appear to be a pair but the colors are a little different with the green darker on the head of one of the figures. These date to the late 19th or early 20th century. There is no damage evident. As stated, the colors are a little different on one and it is possibly one has been repaired but we can not find any repairs.

These came from the estate of Jeanne McCracken of Park Avenue in New York City. I was told she was a long term assistant to David Rockefeller.
