You are bidding on these AMAZING  SHARK VERTEBRA assemblage on ORIGINAL matrix FROM PREHISTORIC, THUS EXTINCT  SHARK, OTODUS OBLIQUUS. Otodus shark is known to be the original ancestor of the well known Carcharodon Megaladon, and was the king of the EARLY EOCENE period of MOROCCO (47 to 54 millions years ago).


This beautiful vertebra cluster was professionally cleaned, hardened and mounted on display. It was found in Khourigba, Gantour Phosphate Deposit Basin, Morocco.

 

The size of the specimen is 22.5cm by 14cm by 7.5cm (including matrix).

 

Fossil comes with its own fitting stand (36cm by 24cm) and name tag as pictured, and overall height is 28cm.
