Unsere Carbon Propeller für die Bebop Drone, wurden in Zusammenarbeit mit einem führenden Hersteller von Carbonteilen aus Deutschland entwickelt und werden auch dort hergestellt. Die Propeller wiegen 40% weniger als die original Spritzgusspropeller, haben aber gleichzeitig eine vielfach höhere Steifigkeit. Das geringere Gewicht wirkt sich zwar auch minimal auf das Gesamtgewicht der Bebop Drone aus, der entscheidende Vorteil ist jedoch ein anderer. Durch 40% weniger rotierende Masse, müssen die Motoren bei jeder Steuerungsaktion - sei es ein aktives Flugmanöver oder die automatische Flugstabilisation - 40% weniger Masse beschleunigen. Das heißt jede Drehzahländerung erfolgt deutlich schneller und zudem mit weniger Energieaufwand. Die extrem verbesserte Steifheit wirkt sich hier ebenfalls positiv aus, denn die Rotorblätter verwinden sich deutlich weniger und die Kräfte werden verlustfreier übertragen. Zudem werden dadurch Schwingungen an den Rotorblättern reduziert. Zudem haben wir die Motorkühlung stark verbessert.

Our CarboBlades were engineered in cooperation with a leading carbon manufacturer in Germany and are produced there as well. The propellers weigh 40% less than the original propellers but have a significantly higher stiffness. The lower weight brings big advantages in terms of performance: The motors have to accelerate 40% less mass at every action of the drone, no matter if it are flight actions or actions of the automatic stabilization. The possible acceleration is faster and with less used energy. The higher stiffness is another advantage, cause the blades do bend less and the transmission of the forces is more lossless and more effective. In addition this reduces vibrations. Last but not least, we significantly improved the motor cooling.
