1795 French Revolution Almanac Charlotte Corday Jacobin Marat Marie Antoinette

20 INCREDIBLE Copper Engravings / comp@$1,680

Marie-Anne Charlotte de Corday d'Armont (1768 –1793), known to history as Charlotte Corday, was a figure of the French Revolution. In 1793, she was executed by guillotine for the assassination of Jacobin leader Jean-Paul Marat, who was in part responsible, through his role as a politician and journalist, for the more radical course the Revolution had taken.

This is a highly rare collection of biographies and accounts from the French Revolution including events surrounding Charlotte Corday. Charles Stuart and Clermont Tonnerre also are mentioned. See photos for views of the beautiful copper engravings. This same almanac can be found for sale elsewhere for $1,680! The contents plus the amazing copper engravings make this book extremely desirable.
