HIGH-COPPER SOLDERING WIRE
SELF FLUXING
5 foot coil

This high-copper wire solder is self-fluxing.
New. Sold from the coil shown in the picture.
Cadmium free.
Grey color when it flows, but there are methods to give the finished join a copper color.
Melt temperature:  1,310°F (710°C)
Flow temperature:  1,460°F (793°C)
Thickness: .04" (1mm) or 18 gauge

Because this solder is grey in color, it is not a color match on visible joints. There are methods to give it a copper color, such as placing a piece of steel (like bailing wire) into saturated pickle, causing the suspended copper ions to adhere to the solder. It also accepts patina, and it can be colored with various metal colors on the market that come in those little bottles, readily available at craft stores.

However, I have used it successfully on jewelry and on small copper structures without using anything to color it, and it looks fine.
