INTERESTING HISTORY OF THESE “OLD SCHOOL” KITS

I acquired these kits from a modern day “Thomas Edison” who has fallen victim to Alzheimer disease.

Mr. Gerald Coleman designed (or sometimes used an existing one) and packaged numerous build-it-yourself electronic project kits using quality components nearly 40 years ago. Heavy items (like transformers) are wrapped in newspaper...the kit I opened had some sheets from the “Thief River Falls Times” 4/20/77 in Thief River Falls, Minn. This was probably from Digi-Key which was one of his suppliers.
