This is an early Bilston & Battersea mini box measuring just under 1 inch, 2.5 cm across.

Bearing the message "A Daughter's Gift" in decorative text with a tiny coloured design of strawberries with leaves and flowers forming a swag beneath.

The base is lemon yellow enamel.

The bronzed mount is a push-on style.

It is in excellent condition for its age, with no scratches or damage, a truly lovely early memento.

Please note that there were two versions in this listing, the pink base version has sold. This has a lemon yellow base, and is identical in every other way.
