This converter lead is exactly what you will need to allow your HDMI interface cable to connect to your DVI connection LCD or plasma TV. The male-male lead has a HDMI plug at one end and a DVI-D male connection at the other end, for plugging into any DVI Digital appliance.
This cable will allow you to plug your new Sky HD box into a slightly older TV set which does not support HDTV input (but has at least one DVI socket). This will allow you to watch HDTV broadcasting, without the need to purchase a new television.
