Natural Mattress Types;

What is Coir? Coir is the name of the coconut pads we use which is coconut fibres sprayed with natural latex to bond the fibres together, the latex is child friendly, naturally hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and anti-dust mite. The coconut is surrounded by wadding to provide extra comfort yet keeping the mattress as organic and natural as possible. The coconut fibre is firm yet elasticated and due to the design of how the fibres are structured the material is very open and ventilated.

Coir – This mattress is made using coconut fibre surrounded in polyester wadding for extra comfort.

Coir & Wool Mattress - This mattress is made using coconut fibre surrounded in pure new lamb’s wool wadding helping to keep your mattress as natural as possible.

Coir Sprung Mattress – This mattress is made with an open coil spring unit which is then surrounded by coconut fibre and wrapped in Polyester wadding.

Coir & Wool Sprung Mattress – This mattress is made with an open coil spring unit which is then surrounded by coconut fibre and wrapped in pure new lamb’s wool wadding.

 

 

All of our mattresses are custom made to your exact requirements here in the UK we don't carry any stock as everything is made to your requirements, all our mattresses come with a removable waterproof PVC sleeve which is free of charge and fits underneath the removable mattress cover, it is one third the length of the mattress and just slides on and off the mattress when you remove the outer cover.

Bamboo – Manufactured using Bamboo yarn, the most eco-friendly material of the 21^st century. Bamboo provides a soft and luxurious feel combined with its natural anti-bacterial properties makes this a great choice for allergy sufferers. The Bamboo even acts as a deodorant keeping the fabric fresh. Cover is breathable, removable & machine washable.

Organic Cotton – Grown with traditional farming methods, such as crop rotation, organic manure and the use of beneficial insects to produce quality cotton without damaging the environment or anybody’s health in the process. This gorgeously soft fabric is great as a natural choice and has a construction of 85% Organic Cotton 15% Polyester (don’t worry, the polyester is in there as it’s naturally cigarette resistant and meets the requirement for British Standards without us having to use nasty fire retardant chemicals). Cover is breathable, removable & machine washable.

Aloe Vera & Lavender - Beautiful, rich, soft and silky Aloe-Vera fabric infused with micro-capsules of lavender. It provides a soothing environment for baby to sleep. Aloe Vera & Lavender is naturally anti-bacterial and moisture absorbing. This is a silky to touch, deeply embossed fabric which releases the scent of Lavender to encourage restful sleep and reduce stress. Cover is breathable, removable & machine washable.

We aim to dispatch all items ASAP, however as each mattress has to be made it can take up to 7 working days for some items. If you need a product sooner than advertised just call us and quote your eBay user ID and we will rush your order out.
