This item consists of FOUR lovely TALBOT (B1124) MINTON BREAD AND BUTTER or SIDE PLATES; all pieces are in excellent estate condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and almost no signs of wear. These pieces were seldom used. These plates measure 6 1/4" in diameter. The background of the border is ivory with blue scrolls, yellow urns with enamelled flowers and additional yellow flowers. The background of the center is a creamy white and there is a large floral medallion with enamel in the very center of the plate. The outside rim is a deep mustard/brown color. This pattern is bright, yet handsome. The old Mintons mark is shown on one of the photos. These pieces were made in the late 1920s.
