Shipping, Handling, Insurance, Packaging & Claim Policies: Before shipment, we thoroughly inspect an item to ensure that it is free of any damages. The item is then safely packed and shipped via USPS, UPS or Fed-Ex (the carrier is selected at our sole discretion). *Prior to shipment of this item, the buyer has the opportunity to purchase shipment protection coverage (full value shipment insurance, protective packaging, signature release and claims handling services) for a nominal fee of $3.50 for every $100.00 of the item's retail value. Insurance and signature release coverage with this purchase is completely optional, but highly recommended to fully protect the parcel against damage, loss or theft. It is the buyer's responsibility to inform us that shipment protection coverage is either elected or waived prior to the shipment process. Packaging for this item is retail grade, and may contain blemishes, creases or other imperfections. As such, claims for minor scrapes, dents, deformation and dings to the item's original manufacturer packaging are not accepted since there is no claim of mint condition packaging being made in this listing. Any claims for theft/missing parcel must be accompanied by an official local police and/or postal inspector report. Items that are damaged, destroyed, lost and/or stolen in transit must be reported to us in writing within 48-hours of the incident so that we can begin the claims handling process (provided only that the additional shipment protection coverage was purchased prior to shipment). We reserve the right to deny any claims in cases involving elements of fraud; questionable or unverifiable circumstances; parcel theft; deception; and/or what appears to be intentional and/or neglectful damage to merchandise.
