Charming Victorian Hallmarked Solid Sterling Silver Sailing Interest Scent/Perfume Bottle

Description - Delightful solid silver scent bottle of rectangular form with a silver hanging chain and a screw off lid with interior cork.

The bottle has beautiful fluted decoration with the engraved inscription "PWLLHELLI REGATTA. 1890. LADYS RACE" this sailing event is still staged to this very day. 

The top of the lid has an engraved monogram.

The bottle is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter "q" for the year 1890 and the maker's mark rubbed and unidentifiable.

Condition - The scent bottle in very good condition there are no dents, dinks, dints, splits, holes or repairs.  The lid screws on and of with no problems, the lid has are two minor dinks, (please see end photograph).

Dimensions & Weight - The bottle is 6cm long x 3.2cm wide.
