Here's a beautiful piece of Victorian Art Glass. This is a gorgeous little JIP Jack-in-the-Pulpit Posy Vase.  The glass is a cream custard and it fluoresces beautifully under a black light.  It also has a wonderful red fire when held to natural light.  See photos.     It measures 5" in diameter and 5" tall.   The pontil is ground and finely polished.  It has a wonderful applied ruby glass ribbon edge.  It is European and has the quality of the better glass houses from the Stourbridge area of England.  Made c. 1890's and it is in perfect condition and fantastic color.  Good flint quality and rings nicely.  Photos do not do justice.  Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare.  This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home. 4313R1620
