The soft shell boots provide water, dirt, chemical and UV protection for SB® connectors. The durable boots shield the connectors from water and dirt to IP64 when mated or unmated when the integral cover is used.*

Mounting Environmental boots can be mounted using such items as a hose clamp, hanger strap and cable tie, which are readily available at industrial supply companies, hardware store and/or automotive parts stores. Mounting methods should be thoroughly evaluated for the end use application. NOTE: It is the responsibility of the customer to qualify the mounting method for each specific application prior to implementation.

The Anderson SB Range of connectors provide cost-effective reliability, design flexibility and mistake-proof capability for your products' manufacture, installation and maintenance.

The housings are interchangeable and genderless interconnects (turn one housing 180 degrees to connect to the other).  Insert contacts into housings and plug together for a clever, simple and low-cost solution to power interconnection. Colour coded to prevent cross connection - will only mate to the same colour housing.

* This boot can be used to protect a single SB175 connector, however if you require to mate this booted connector with another booted connector to form a waterproof connection, you must mate a "SOURCE" boot with a "LOAD" boot. You can not mate two "SOURCE" boots together or two "LOAD" boots together. (See my other listings for various SB ENVIRONMENTAL boot kits).
