Antique (1952) 9ct Gold and Enamel Masonic Eastern Star Horseshoe Brooch, in Very Good Condition

This collectable antique brooch is made of fully hallmarked 9ct yellow gold and dates from 1952.  The brooch is in the form of a horseshoe, inset with the Masonic related Eastern Star motif.  The star has been enamelled in different colours, with a gold symbol in the centre of each. Please note that the photos have been enlarged to show detail, actual measurements are given below.  Please read the item description in full and see all photos.

Hallmarks:  The reverse of the brooch is stamped '9' and '375' for 9ct gold, along with hallmarks showing that it was made in Birmingham in 1952. There is a maker's mark of 'WBS'

Condition:  This brooch is 65 years old and is in good condition for its age, with no damage and showing just light signs of age / general wear.  There is no enamel loss;  on close inspection it can be seen that the white enamelling shows a light speckling effect but this is original and is not damage. Please see all photos and read the item description in full.
