GUZMANIA LINGULATA
This beautiful species Guzmania produces a tall deep crimson-red long lasting inflorescence up to 3ft tall ! bearing white flowers in succession .
The leaves are semi stiff tinged green forming an open rosette. This is a superb display Bromeliad and one of the tougher Guzmanias. 
Guzmainias are prized for their exquisite spreading rosettes as well as their long lasting flowers. Makes a good clumping Bromeliad for exotic garden displays.

It is ideal as a home or conservatory container plant or under light shade in the garden.
It does well in medium to bright light.

Keep water in cups at all times.

 A mix of dark humus compost and pine bark for a porous and slightly acid medium. Keep soil somewhat dry, water once or twice each week, mist leaves if practical.
Most Bromeliads adapt well to greenhouse, home or conservatory conditions. 
 
Produces some offshoots and blooms reliably through the Spring Min Temp: 5c+ -

Supplied as: 1 healthy large offset plant 8"- 12" ht. 
(Note: Bromeliads are mainly supplied as pups, ramets, as divided from mother plants, they sometimes have some roots, not always, this is normal, roots form fast on planting)
