For sale is a one-of-a-kind lot of two press release photos of the "first image returned by the Wide Field Planetary Camera on the Hubble Space Telescope."  Both are camera paper photographs, one dated for release on May 20, 1990 (Photo No. G-90-03195) and the other released on May 22, 1990 (HST First Light Photo). Both come with an accompanying press release cover sheet from NASA with a photo overview, along with fascinating technical details of the photographs.  Obviously, this is a unique and rare piece of NASA Hubble Telescope history.   This is part of a number of listings I am posting from the estate of a NASA engineer in Huntsville, AL who worked extensively with the Large Space Telescope program.  The photos and cover letters have been stored in a plastic sleeve, and are in outstanding condition.

Please ask questions before bidding so that I can insure you know exactly what you are bidding on.  Because I offer multiple pictures and detailed descriptions and prompt reply to questions, I do not offer a standing refund option.  However, if I made a mistake (I am human), or you have a concern, please contact me, and I will do everything reasonably possible to make it right, and my feedback reflects that.  I want both us to come out winners here.  All of these items are from a smoke-free home.  At your request, I will be happy to combine shipping on multiple auction items, as long as the auctions end within two days of each other and subject to any other eBay policy limitations.  However, eBay’s Global Shipping program does not permit combined shipping for international buyers.   Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end.  Have fun.
