Briwax Original Wax Polish Antique Mahogany offers the simplest of finishes to unfinished / raw timber or the final touch to a full French polished surface whether in the home or the workshop. A blend of Beeswax and Carnauba waxes give an instant natural sheen to bare wood or wood prepared with Shellac Sanding Sealer. Ideal for woodcarvings and turned wood, for floors and skirtings. Cleans and protects wood, metalwork and even melamine.
Formulated to produce the Briwax finish on finished and unfinished timber.
Intended Use: Provides a natural sheen to sealed wood. Used for restoration of antique furniture. Always check compatibility with antique furniture and pre-finished furniture.
Type: A traditional formulation using only refined Natural Beeswax and Carnauba Wax.
Special Features: Revives the natural colour of wood and enriches the patina of all good furniture.
Briwax Original Wax Polish is formulated with fast drying, stronger solvents which speed up drying, and also increase the cleaning ability of the wax slightly. This means that it will renovate older dirtier furniture and leave you with the deep grain enriching Briwax shine.

Application: Apply to the surface with a soft lint free cloth or 0000 Briwax Steel Wool working with the grain. Once dry, buff with lint free cotton cloth to achieve the desired finish.
Coats: One coat is usually sufficient but a second coat may be applied to obtain a higher sheen.
Drying Time: Quick drying.
Re-coating Time: Re-apply if required after a few minutes.
Application Temp: Ideally 15-25° C
Maintenance: Re-apply when necessary.
Compatibility: Compatible with all types of timber finishes. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance timber should always be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer. The product is not designed for use in areas where it will come into contact with water.
Clean-Up: Hands and application cloth can be cleaned in warm soapy water.
Shelf-life/Storage: A very long time if stored in original container tightly sealed in a cool dry place.
