This attractive Pendant is made using an authentic Uncirculated 2000 U.S. Sacagawea Eagle Dollar mounted in a Sterling Silver bezel with a soldered bail. The bail will take up to a 5mm chain. This bezel has a screw across the top to hold the coin in securely.

This Pendant shows the reverse of the Sacagawea Dollar Coin and features the soaring American Bald Eagle. Since one side of this coin is up-side-down from the other, we have also listed a Pendant featuring Sacagawea and Child. See our category COIN PENDANTS.

The reverse features Sacagawea, a Shoshone Native American young woman. On her back, she carries her infant son, Jean Baptiste, born on the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Sacagawea's knowledge of several Indian languages and her familiarity with the topography of the territory was crucial to the success of the Expedition.
