Antique Solid Silver Novelty Golf Bag Propelling Pencil, (Miller Bros, c1900)


 

 

Description

Antique late Victorian solid sterling silver novelty propelling pencil in the form of a golf bag & clubs. Pulling out the top golf clubs section removes the internal pencil, the top of the internal section pushes in & out which extends & retracts the bottom pencil tip. The pencil tip has a twist action which extends & retracts the pencil lead mechanism. Both mechanisms are in excellent working order. The pencil comes complete with a pencil lead in the tip. The pencil is stamped on the side of the body with the makers marks & "Sterling Silver". Lovely collectors item.
