And now the small print! - please take the time to read
We make every effort to describe items accurately, and do not set out to deliberately mislead. We are only human, sometimes we get things wrong. Please think carefully before leaving low DSR's, these can be very damaging and no one wants them. We certainly do not set out to get them. If there is an issue please contact us before leaving feedback and we will attempt to resolve it and having done so would expect the feedback to be reasonable. We are very open and honest, and if we have made a mistake we will remedy it. Please bear in mind that subjective opinions can differ from one person to another, and we describe items in good faith as we personally see them. Your opinion may differ - this does not make either of us wrong it just means that we differ. Please be aware that digital photography can make an item look different than it actually is, we do not use library pictures other than when we have more than one of a particular item and in the vast majority of cases the item that you will receive is the one in the photo or at least very similar.
Any questions please ask and we will do our best to answer. We are, however, the first to admit that we do not know everything there is to know about our vast subject.
We will give a postal discount for multiple purchases- please request a total when you have finished buying. We try to keep costs down but as a result of the current eBay Seller Protection policy, most items will be sent via a Signed For service. We will use a cheaper overseas service for items selling at less than £5 but that would have to be at buyer's risk, everything else will be sent 'signed for'. Also Royal Mail have a habit currently of damaging parcels, so we have made a decision to try and beef up the packaging, unfortunately this adds to the cost of both materials and the posting. Please bear this in mind. We will make every effort to get your item to you safely and in one piece and at a reasonable price. As a general rule, we charge what Royal Mail charge us plus a few pence to cover packaging costs. We increasingly use new materials/boxes, a box costs in the region of 60p+.
We usually post on a Monday (not Bank Holidays), Wednesday and Friday once payment has been received. We always obtain proof of posting and will send an email confirming when the item has been posted. We can do no more than post in a timely manner and pack items as safely as possible. We have to respectfully point out that the Ebay DSR question refers to despatch time, not delivery time which is a totally different issue. Obviously we have no control over delays in the service for whatever reason after posting. We would ask that we are not penalised for the delivery issues associated with Royal Mail. Personal collection is possible by arrangement - please ask. We are happy to post overseas, please ask for a p&p figure prior to bidding, ALL items to ITALY will only be sent via a ‘signed for’ service.
Before they will consider an item to be lost:
Royal Mail allow themselves
15 working days for domestic delivery
20 working days for delivery to Europe and
25 working days for delivery to the rest of the World.
Working days exclude Saturdays and Sundays
Although we try we may not be able to respond to questions close to the end of an auction.
