Evergreen shrub grows up to 9' with yellow fragrant flowers that bloom in early spring to summer. After it flowers, it produces some seeds. The seeds begin with a green color and turn into black against bright red sepals. When some of the seeds fall, it resembles the Disney character "Mickey Mouse". Very easy to grow, full to partial sun, hardy zones 9 -11. In cooler regions grow as house plant. One of the best for bonsai, tropical or Japanese gardens.
