7 months is long enough. It has been cool fun having it in the store but I am in the process of buying some FRESH VINTAGE gear from an widow's estate collection so I need to start moving some pieces,,,, NOW.
I DID see one that sold for $3,850.00 on Ebay about 10 months ago but that does not mean much TODAY.

Here we have a VERY rare Hofner hollow body bass. It is in 100% original condition. Overall this instrument is very clean with some belt buckle wear on the back of the body and neck as seen in pictures. The original frets show light wear and light pitting in first 5-6 frets with plenty of fret left.
There are NO cracks or repairs ANYWHERE on the bass with some VERY light laquer checking thruout the finish.
There is a LOT of binding on this bass and ALL the binding is perfect with NO separation and NO cracking!
Note: There were 2 screws missing on the pickguard by the bass boost knob. We have replaced those missing screws with ones that work just fine.
The black nylon flatwound strings are new and she sound great and plays real easy with ALL the electronics working flawlessly. She sounds real good even ACOUSTICALLY.
Note: The strap pins have been replaced.
She weighs 6 lbs. 13 oz.
