This is an EARLY UNISSUED VIETNAM ERA M-1956 ADJUSTABLE OD CANVAS FIELD/ BUTT  PACK / COMBAT SUSPENDERS DATED 63 SIZE REGULAR. The front of the suspenders is stamped U.S., Also on each shoulder strap is a canvas loop for attaching a flashlight, etc. On the back of the suspenders on one shoulder pads is stamped with a large letter R, Height UNDER 68". Also there is another stamping with the following identification : SUSPENDERS, FIELD PACK COMBAT M-1956, DSA 1-1628-63-E,  and the number 08. On the top of the suspenders are two adjustable straps with snap hooks. On the bottom of the suspenders there are also two adjustable straps with metal hardware to attach to a pistol belt. The M-1956 Adjustable OD Canvas Field Pack / Combat Suspenders Dated 63 Size Regular are in new condition.
