RE-LISTED DUE TO (previous) BUYER BEING IN N. IRELAND & POSTAGE COSTS WERE TOO EXPENSIVE
This is a large format (up to 5x4") dichroic (colour or multigrade, or B/W) enlarger with masks and accessories to use with 5x4, 6x9, 6x6, 6x4.5 and 35mm.
There are 3 lens panels and I will include with this sale a very usable (but not perfect) Schneider Componon-S 135mm f/5.6 lens (as shown) s/n 12662165. There are some internal 'bubbles' on the perimeter of the optics, a sign that the paint is degrading but still very usable.
The enlarger would be best wall mounted, the controls offer 'front wheel drive', that is; the control wheels at the front of the baseboard can be used to control the rise and fall of the head up and down the column and also the focus of the bellows.
The head works well and has just had a new (250w / 24v) lamp fitted.
Cosmetic condition is not as new, it shows some surface corrosion but all works well.
The light mixing box works well but does look as if it could be refreshed to its advantage, there are previous signs of polystyrene damage from overlong illumination of the (bright) lamp.
The stabiliser / power supply connects to the head but is controlled by the timer, the DeVere timer is needed to complete the complex DeVere circuit.
There is a photocopied manual to explain all items and assist you with setting up and maintaining the enlarger in the best way.
This is a serious item and weighs a great deal, c. 45kg.
We can pack this and send it to you in several boxes but it cannot be cheaply done...
Collection would be welcomed.
Baseboard is 24x24".
Height is 60", 24" wide and 32" deep.
