Condition Continued: This book is very solidly bound, nothing loose, no spaces between the pages or the covers and the pages, no issues at all. The spine is a slightly cocked forward. However, what makes this book special isn't the condition alone. The author, William Winthrop Kent, has signed a card/label that was attached to the coated or glossy second blank front free end paper. It is no longer attached but is in excellent condition, without any wear. It can easily be pasted back into place. There is no abrasion underneath. It still entirely smooth, but with the darkened rectangular shape of the card/label.
