A stunning studio pottery drip glazed vase by Roy Newman made at Pear Tree Pottery in Sheffield. The stoneware vase is of rounded bulbous shape standing on a narrow rounded foot with a narrow top and wide shallow cup shaped top. The vase is decorated in brown streaked drip glazes run down over a brown painted ground with white glazes to the inner top. The vase has an incised PTP monogram to the base.
