For sale are 3 HAND TIED Ultraviolet Fluke (summer flounder) bucktail rigs. These rigs are the best standard B2 squid bucktail rigs you can buy, PERIOD! You may think they look similar to the ones in the bait and tackle stores. They're not. You may have seen these at other websites, or at fishing expos, or right here on eBay. Trust me they are not the same and I'll tell you why. I have been fluke and sea bass fishing for over 35 years and I have bought and fished hundreds of different fluke and sea bass rigs. Now I make my own and catch more BIG fish on these rigs than any rigs you can buy in the bait and tackle shops.

The secret is simple. It's the quality! The worst feeling you can get fishing (besides getting seasick) is hooking into a big fish and then losing it on the way up. Every rig we sell is hand tied using only the finest quality materials and knots. The clevis is a folded clevis which does not scrape or fray the line and the hooks are attached to a dropper loop, an industry standard for Hi/Low rigs. The loop at the bottom is a double surgeon's loop, also an industry standard and the barrel swivel at the top is attached with a uni knot. Don't lose another big fish to poor craftsmanship. Any rig can catch your average 18 inch keeper fluke, but can it handle a 10+ pound door mat? Can it handle a double header keeper with two fish on one rig? These are the questions you need to ask yourself. These bucktail rigs can handle the biggest fish and ensure that your fish of a lifetime gets in the boat.

Each rig is hand tied with 20# premium 100% fluorocarbon leader line. Fluorocarbon line is virtually invisible and is preferred in jigging applications where you want to offer the most realistic presentation to your targeted species. You will see 10 inches of line between the barrel swivel and the B2 Squid lure and then 18 inches of line between the B2 squid lure and the surgeon's loop at the bottom, where you will attach your bucktail of choice. The hook is a 3/0 Gamakatsu octopus hook. Attached to the dropper loop, in addition to the B2 Squid body, you will see 2 beads and a #3 nickel plated Colorado spinner blade. Also, between the hook and the squid body you will see another bead. This bead is important. This bead prevents the squid from being pulled down over your hook and rendering the whole rig worthless. Again, years and years of fishing experience comes along with these rigs. 

You will receive three (3) ultraviolet rigs. (1 UV Clear w/blue flake, 1 UV Purple Haze, and, 1 UV Appletini green). If you would like all the same color or if you would like to mix and match your own color scheme, please let me know when you place your order.
