Impressive 19th century French porcelain and Champlevé urn in the style of Sevres.  This is a beautiful piece, measuring just under 12 1/2 inches in height measured to the top of the finial and it weighs 3 pounds 4.1 ounces.  The middle / body of the piece is porcelain decorated in cobalt and gold and painted with two scenes by the artist Geo Rochette.  The front scene with the couple is signed G. Rochette.  The lid, neck and foot are metal decorated with enamel using a technique called Champlevé.  It is in excellent condition, free from damage with minor signs of wear and use and a small flaw under the rim (see close up pictures).

I disassembled this piece and found no markings except on the thin brass plate between the brass foot and faux marble base.  The thin brass plate is marked MADE IN FRANCE.  The condition on all of the internal hardware is excellent.
If you would like to see the pictures of the parts disassembled I would be happy to send the additional pictures through eBay email.  Many pictures so you can see for yourself the beautiful condition this piece is in.
