The item being offered is a Cream of Wheat ad page from the September, 1917 issue of "The Modern Priscilla" magazine. The ad features Uncle Sam eating a bowl of Cream of Wheat and the title "Preparedness". There is a bald eagle perched on the back of the chair. The page measures 10 1/4" x 14". It is overall good+ condition. There is a 3/4" tear on the left edge, a 1/2" tear on the bottom and a 1/2" tear on the right edge, but these can be matted out. There is one fold line top to bottom, and some roughness on the right edge where the ad was torn out of the magazine. The colors are still very vibrant.
