This is why people have always suggested to 'Flame over' the screen before placing in your bowl to rid the screen of any oil that may have adhered to the screen through manufacturing. WE FIXED THAT!
We replaced the petroleum derived oil by lubricating the punching process with organic, NON-GMO, Pharmaceutical grade, cold pressed HEMP SEED OIL! We ran a very limited test run of these 3/4" Brass pipe screens using the Hemp Seed Oil and were quite surprised at how well it worked as a punching lubricant! At least we are no longer concerned with the petroleum based residue on these screens! The 'Flame over' is no longer required!
