MAINTENANCE
- Maintain the pool water chemicals in proper balance.
- DO NOT scrub the filter with a stiff brush.
- DO NOT use a high pressure hose.
- Buy two cartridges and rotate to considerably prolong the life of the cartridges.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove cartridge from filter housing.
- Wash the filter using a garden hose working from the top down.
- Do not use a high pressure hose or brush.
- Soak the cartridge overnight in a cartridge filter solution.
- Alternatively, use 1 cup of a household detergent in 5 litres of water.
- Rinse the cartridge with a hose to remove any remaining oils or cleaning solution.
- Eventually your cartridge filter will block and will need to be replaced, usually every 18 months to 2 years depending on the amount of use.
