These Altaya models typically come on a black or grey plastic base with a clear acrylic dust cover, all of which are packed in a flexible plastic lid attached to a cardboard backing. This series of models was initially sold as subscription pieces in Europe and this sort of packaging is used to better protect them when mailed. The model was originally released as a unit of the Altaya Combat Tanks of the World Series but came to us as one of the Altaya Tanks of the World Series.
Model has a heft that suggests it's made mostly of diecast metal and not resin/plastic but we are not certain of this. Diecast / Resin model. Released in the US market as Altaya Tanks of the World #ALT0055 - released earlier as a subscription piece in Altaya Combat Tanks of the World series as #AV45.
