Here is a tin model of Charles Lindbergh’s “Spirit of St.  Louis.” The maker’s monogram, “HTC Made in Japan,” is on the rear of the fuselage. The model dates from the 1960s.  The airplane measures 12.25" wing tip to wing tip,  and is about  9.5" from nose to tail. Overall condition is good with nice clean yellow and black colors, and I believe the plane displays well.

CONDITION NOTES: The friction motor, which should spin the propeller, works sometimes. The engine cowling is missing. There is a a one-inch wide  rub mark atop one wing, and there are various spots of missing paint. The rear wheel mount is rusty. A former owner had it hanging from a wire, which is still attached. I am told the wings fold, but not have tried to do so.
