Intermotor Distributor Cap

The distributor cap is the cover that protects the distributor's internal parts and holds the contacts between the internal rotor and the spark plug wires.

As distributor caps are exposed to a constant electrical charge, their metal terminals will ultimately corrode. You may then notice the following symptoms:

- Car starting to misfire intermittently
- Car not starting at all
- Unusual noises coming from the engine?

These problems are signs that you need to replace your car’s distributor cap.
