Cloak description: This half-cloak, or "capelet," is a simple but elegant cloak made from a velvet material (fairly lightweight) and then entirely lined in satin. Perfect for regency, Victorian, or Civil War eras, it is approximately waist-length (depending on your height, of course), measuring appx. 30.5" from the center back neck (below the collar) to the center back hem. Appropriate for the time period, it is cut in a circular pattern, with a bottom circumference of 162". It has a short circular collar and closes just beneath that at the throat with a two-button clasp, gold in color, and loop. Please see our numerous photos and if you have any questions, let us know! Currently we carry this caplet in ten different colors, but if you need one we do not have, please tell us, since we are always looking for new items and color combinations to add to Artemisia's current offerings.

Condition: This cloak is brand new and has never been worn before. It is in very good condition. Customer service is a priority of mine, so if you are not satisfied with your cloak's condition, I will do everything I can to rectify the situation.
Please do keep in mind that as I have to fold the costume to ship it, you may find wrinkles in the satin lining or the velvet when you unpack it. Hanging the cloak up or simple ironing should do the trick to smooth out any creases.
