This is a magnificently ornate 

antique French Dore (gilt) Bronze chandelier 

from the France from around the turn of the century. The detailing is pretty unbelievable with lovely leaves, ribbons, finials & more.Totally rewired & is ready to hang.It is 18 carat hand gilt over cast bronze. 

Measuring 36"h x 40"w.

It has incised initials of "AD" on it of the  designer of ornaments at the Sevres factory from 1858 until 1878 & also for Pouyat of Limoges. That man was Pierre-Adolphe Dammouse. 

A spectacular, large, lighting fixture with a presence that demands a space that focuses on the fabulous! The shade is not original & most likely American made. Originally it was probably crystal. This is a very special antique French chandelier that demands a great place to showcase its beauty.
