Shipping Policy
We can only ship to your registered eBay address.
We will not forward packages or ship to alternate addresses - NO EXCEPTIONS.
We use United States Postal Service (USPS) for all shipments.
Please make sure your order is accurate before paying.
Signatures required on all invoices over $750.
eBay automatically calculates estimated shipping times based on our current processing & handling time and the lowest time needed for delivery for the service selected. Actual shipping and delivery times may vary.
Payment Policy
We only accept PayPal for eBay purchases.
In some cases PayPal may randomly review the order and hold your payment.
We cannot begin processing of your order until the payment and order are cleared by PayPal to ship.
Buyer is responsible for choosing the correct funding source via PayPal.
Please make sure the correct shipping and funding source is selected before committing to buy.
Florida State Sales Tax Policy (Applies to Florida Shipping addresses only) - Per Florida law we are required to collect Florida sales tax on all Foreign legal tender coins and currency when the total of all such items on an order is less than $500.
In the case of typographical or computer errors in a listing, First Modern Coins will not be able to honor the sale.
International Shipping Policy
We are accepting international orders from select countries.
For international customers, we use eBay’s Global Shipping program. Your package will be sent to eBay’s Global Shipping Center in Kentucky, where they will then ship the item to your registered eBay address. eBay determines the method and cost of shipping to your country.
Return Policy
There are no returns on bullion items.
The return policy, if any, will be noted in the eBay listing. Return instructions will be sent through eBay Messages.
We do not hold or set aside coins for exchanges, if we are out of stock or do not have a suitable replacement when your return is received, we will cancel the transaction and refund the order in full.
Photo Policy
Due to the large inventory we sell, we use stock photos.
We take all of our photos in house and most of Proof Coins has a dark or black reflections when there is not.
We use the same photo when we do an Auction Style or Buy it Now Listing.
Terms of Sale
All of our orders are shipped insured.
We can file a claim on any order where the tracking information shows the package as not delivered.
We must wait a period of two weeks from the last tracking update before we can file a claim and either refund your money or send you a replacement.
We are no longer responsible for any order where the tracking information is marked as DELIVERED - we are unable to file a claim on any order marked as delivered, you will need to contact your local postal carrier's office in order to seek resolution.
