Quite a rarity to get wood 10cm deep and a darker colour so I jumped at the chance to buy this exotic sapele.  Treated with salad bowl oil internally which actually enhances the unique effect of the wood grain which I hope to have captured in the photos.  It  measures 26.5cm diameter, stands 9.8cm high and the base 24.8cm diameter.  A really fantastic salad bowl or fruit bowl, a brilliant present.  The bowl includes a pair of hand made American Cherry salad servers free of charge.
