This is an antique metal and wood stamp tool with a turned wooden handle. 
It reads "Kirkby Lonsdale, Church Choir, Not To Be Taken..." 

No maker's mark.

Came from PEARSON & PEARSON - Solicitors of Kirkby Lonsdale estate.
 
Please note: I have reversed one of the images so the wording can be read for listing purposes. 


It is in collectable condition with normal signs of age and use wear.
The rubber stamp has some chipping out of the corners and the paintwork on the handle is worn off in places.

It measures approx. 75mm long and the stamp part measures approx. 39mm x 15mm.
