Antique French Barocco Firedogs Andirons Pair Brass Lamp Base 17th C

Antique pair of french barocco andirons in brass whirligig shaped with arches ended with claws to the base  made during the 17th century. 11 1/4' (28.5cm) height 4 3/4" (12cm) by side to the base weight 11lb 14.47oz (5.4kilograms) for the pair. One claw is misssing and the gris is cut, they can be used in lamp bases as presented on the following pictures.

Une griffe manquante, grille sciée. Ferait une belle paire de lampe. Hauteur 28,5 cm, sections des pattes 12 cm.
