This is a very rare photograph print

Photo Shows: After Khrushchev's visit to the United States, a top-level conference was scheduled to be held in Paris during May, 1960. The leaders of the U.S., the USSR, England, France, and Western Germany would all attend. Khrushchev's visit to the United States seemed to suggest that many problems could now be solved. But on May 5, just before the summit convened, Moscow announced that an American spy plane, a Lockheed U-2, had been shot down while flying 1200 miles inside of the Soviet Union. This incident broke up the Paris summit and heated up the Cold War. The photo shows a U-2 aircraft in flight.
