The UVA-365A is a high speed UV measuring instrument for the measurement of ultraviolet radiation (UVA/UVB) in a UV spectrum of 260nm to 390nm and broad range of application. The new microprocessor-controlled LSI circuit provides for a high measuring accuracy and quick gate times. The device has a RS-232 interface for data transfer to a computer and a maximum/minimum record function with reacall. By its external sensor contrary to the many offered cheap devices (with integrated sensor) it is able to measure the UV radiation in difficulty accessible places. The device also has a automatic power off function. The gauge is equipped with a very compact and strainable housing.

Applications:
In the industry e.g. monitoring of the blue light endangerment when welding and with solarium, UV jet sterilization, photo-chemical alignment, UV EPROM deletion, hardening by precipitation of ink, adhesive and coatings etc. In the laboratory e.g. virology, DNA research, genetics, UV aging. Within the private sector you can thereby determine the strength of the harmful UVA radiation to protect yourselves, whether now in vacation, with the sport or when sun bathing. Many offered cheap devices can measure unfortunately only UVB radiation. Our equipment measures quantitatively the entire UVA range.
