Originally written
in 1575, Torquato Tasso’s famous “Jerusalem Delivered” tells a mythical story
of the First Crusade complete with Christian Knights battling Muslim warriors.
In 1583, five additional cantos were written by Camillo Camilli to supplement
Tasso’s original poem.
This undated 1685
