Desert Inn Country Club News Magazine January 27, 1962 This rare old magazine from 1/27/1962 has golf stories and pictures from tounaments and outings held at the Desert Inn. This was published by Fabulous Las Vegas Magazine by changing the cover and adding pages after the regular weekly edition was published.. The Cover Titled "Putting All His Golfers In One Basket" Ed Sullivan holds golf cap full of golf balls with qualifiers names inscribed..........for the 10th annual Tournament of Champions held at the Desert Inn. This magazine is a great look into Las Vegas History, too much to put in description..! The Fabulous Las Vegas Magazine was published from 1949 to the mid 70's. It was published by Jack Cortez and later his wife Etta, who kept it going after his death. This edition has many stories about entertainers, restaurants, hotel & casino ads and Las Vegas happenings including show reviews.
