This is a b/w photograph of a girl in her Confirmation dress and veil. It dates, I think, to the 1910s. She is holding a book - possibly a bible and standing next to a chair with a lovely carved back. The photographer is a G. Hogg (I think!), the place name below starts with "Saint-" but I cannot make out the rest. The item measures 11cm x 16.7cm in total and the image area measures 6cm x 11.1cm. Interesting item for a collection which would bear further research.

The item is in a good plus condition overall. A little curvature to item, general edge and corner rubs, light creases at corners, some small creases at top edge, some light marks and some tiny marks to borders, tiny nick at top edge, a few tiny marks to reverse, the odd bump to edges, the odd tiny mark to image but overall clean. Please check scans carefully as they help with condition too.
