This non-powered unit will allow you to attenuate the level of a speaker - so you can play one louder than the other.

Does not lower impedance of your speaker system - can be used with any speaker impedance 4 ohm to 16 ohm.  Resistance added only when power is suppressed (volume lowered).  Will work with any amplifier with the proper phono jack connectors.

Add an external volume control to your existing non-powered speakers using this design.

Just add this in-line with your existing speaker and you can adjust its volume similar to using an L-pad. 

Quality, rugged unit with brushed aluminum face, over 1/8" thick.

Q: "Can this product be used in the same capacity as a Marshall Power Break or Scholz Power Soak?"

A: "You can look at it as a mini-version of these. It should not be used with amps over 100W and it probably adds a bit more distortion than the other two. It is more for use as a speaker protection/volume changer than a device allowing your amp to play at full throttle."
